From Daksum the road continues up to Sinthan Pass and Sinthan Top, and it is the start of the trekking route towards Kishtwar. Most visitors come for the quiet: a walk in the forest, the sound of the water, and the drive itself.
It is about 42 km from Anantnag and 100 km from Srinagar. Kokernag lies on the way, so the two are natural companions.
